This week in my Exploring Computer Science class we learned all about Algorithms. A Algorithm is a set a set of step by step rules or problem solving structure especially for computer or a electronic device  to follow by. Computers are dumb machines that we literally have to tell them what to do. Four steps to problem solving is 1. To Understand the problem 2. Plan your solution 3. Test your plan to solve the problem 4. Review. Some people that may have to create and use algorithms are... Computer programmers, and software developers. MST(Minimal Spanning Tree) which is a algorithm used to find the shortest path.

Data Modeling and design

This week in my exploring computer science class we learned a lot about data modeling and design. We had the chance to use photo shop. We were assigned a picture and we had to watch instruction videos on how to edit the picture and tweak it to the way you want the photo to look.

Artificial Intelligence

     What my class learned about artificial intelligence is that a computer can generate information but the human can do it better, One thing is that computers may operate faster and give more accurate mathematical results with data. The computer can not receive complex and hard instructions the instructions have to be specific so the computer knows exactly what to do. Artificial intelligence is also taking over real people jobs and that is a huge problem because of the employment drop . They use machines at McDonald and voice automated systems so people don't have those jobs anymore.

Purchasing A Computer

Purchasing a computer can be very difficult for different people, some people have very different needs compared to other people. For example people in different professions such as.. Photography they may need a computer with a bigger hard drive and Central processing unit(cpu). Maybe someone that travels a lot in the business field may need a longer battery life. Or even maybe someone that plays video games may need great screen quality and sound. Choosing a computer to purchase is a very hard decision, it takes a lot of time and effort to actually choose a computer that will be right for you.

Data Representation & Collection

This week in my exploring computer science class we went over Data Representation and Data collection. There is a very wide variety of ways to represent data, and all ways to represent data do not tell the same story. Also, big over the internet companies such as FaceBook, Instagram, SnapChat, etc.. Get lots of money so advertising companies can collect their data to use. Data is also being collected on us people at all times and we may not even know it.

Impact Of Computer Mediated Communication

              This Topic that we were learning about this week is called computer mediated communication. What computer mediated communication is basically the communication and post that you have over the internet/social media and how it could affect you in your work place or any profession. What I have learned about this topic is that what you post or share on any social media site can come back and bite you when you apply for certain things such as a job or college and you have to watch what you post. People do not think of those type of things and they just post whatever they want on social media, not knowing that it can get you kicked out of school or ,fired from your job, or even not be accepted into school or wotk
